    Man Rescued from 20 Foot Pit In Fort Thomas

    Rescuers pulled an injured man from a 20 foot pit in Fort Thomas this afternoon.

    The fall happened at the water treatment plant on Alexandria Pike near I-471.

    Dispatchers tell us the man has a broken leg. Rescuers spent about 40 minutes at the scene, but they did finally manage to get the worker out of the pit and to a hospital for treatment.
