    Singapore restaurants showing empty seats
    Cincinnati Sun
    Friday 16th May, 2008

There was a lower turnover in Singapore restaurants after the Lunar New Year celebration, dropping the country’s catering figures to US$289.2 million.

The catering trade has fallen by 3.1 per cent over March last year, partly due to higher food prices.

However, sales of fast food outlets rose by 1.6 per cent while turnover of food caterers and other eating places climbed 8.9 per cent and 6.0 per cent respectively.
