Britney Spears denies sexual harassment charges
    Cincinnati Sun
    Friday 10th September, 2010
    (IANS)

Britney Spears Friday strongly denied allegations of sexual harassment made by a former bodyguard in a lawsuit filed earlier this week.

'This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself,' said a statement on the singer's website.

'The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Flores' accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts.'

The statement came two days after former bodyguard Fernando Flores accused her of parading in the nude and making unwanted sexual advances towards him. He also claimed that Spears engaged in sex acts in front of her two young sons, and that she hit her son with a belt.
