    (IANS)

Representatives of over 60 top South Korean companies have arrived here in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to explore business opportunities, WAM news agency reported.

The Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones (ZonesCorp), a government department, has received the delegation Monday. The visit is aimed at learning from the experiences of ZonesCorp in developing and managing special economic zones in Abu Dhabi, the report said Tuesday.

'ZonesCorp is an embodiment of Abu Dhabi government's support to develop the industrial sector into a leading destination for investment and an industry and logistics services' hub that could compete regionally and globally,' ZonesCorp CEO Mohammed Hassan Al Qamzi told the visitors.

The South Korean delegation stressed their government's interest to boost bilateral economic activities, particularly in Abu Dhabi.

ZonesCorp is responsible for the establishment, management and operation of specialised economic zones in Abu Dhabi.
